WHO WE ARE
FirstFruits Environmental Services was established in 2021 as a not-for-profit Community Interest Company to help deal with a significant waste problem in our cities. The founders looked to develop innovative and responsible solutions to reduce the environmental impact.
REVOLUTIONARY
FirstFruits collects green garden waste and commercial wood waste from small landscaping, arborist and construction businesses, and food waste from small food retailers and domestic residencies. The waste is then segregated and treated accordingly through upcycling and recycling, composting and pyrolysis.

−Reduce transportation and operational costs that large-scale industrial waste contractors have.
−Reduce greenhouse gas emissions associated with hauling waste products to a centralised facility which consumes vast amounts of energy.
−It is less expensive to construct and operate composting plants than incineration plants.
−The compost produced can enhance the local agriculture, food, and tourist industries.
